Our Location - Map

Blue Jacket Farm is located 5 miles southeast of Lawrence, Kansas, home of the University of Kansas. Kansas Highway 10 is 1 mile north of the farm and connects Lawrence with the Kansas suburbs of Kansas City, which are 25 miles east of Blue Jacket.

Facilities

The farm offers 40 acres of pastures for the horses that reside at Blue Jacket.  The pastures are surrounded by sturdy wood fencing for safe keeping.  Shelters provide protection for pasture-only horses.  Two generous paddocks surround the stables.

The stables are simple, safe and functional.  Six stalls offer indoor keeping as required.  Individual stalls can be adjusted and doubled for foaling.  The stables include a full-sized wash bay and a well-furnished tack room.
